Much thanks to Alibi2014 for tagging me. ^_^ Now maybe I can stop being so lazy and to start blogging...

01. What’s your favorite kind of weather?
Warm, but with a cool breeze. Nothing coming out of the sky unless I'm inside. I like cloudy weather.

02. How do you style your hair?
My hair is evil, and a living being on it's own. It is too straight and thick to do anything with, so I will always have a
short blunt cut. Always.

03. If you could have one superpower what would it be?
There are a lot a would like, but the only one I could see not biting me in the backside eventually is invisibility.

04. How many colors are you wearing now?
A fading tie-dye t-shirt and black pants. So...5?

05. Who are your heroes?
Aside from the obvious (My mother, my friends, etc.) I admire Oscar Wilde. And Harry Potter.

06. What was the last book you read?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians 1st book, the Lightning Thief.

07. Do you nap a lot?
YES.

08. If the person you secretly like is already taken, what would you do?
Daniel Radcliffe, but I don't think he's taken...

09. If you could visit one place in the world that you’ve never been before, where would it be and why?
Japan, and the Shakespeare and Company library/bookstore in Paris.

10. What's your favorite dessert?
I love desserts, but if you asked me to eat only one for the rest of my life, I'd say chocolate chip cookies.

11. What is your home away from home?
My grandparent's home, and anywhere where there are books.

12. What websites do you visit daily?
Livejournal, Deviantart, FF.net, CNN, About.com, OneManga.

13. What classes are you taking right now? And if you're not in school any more, what's your job?
Algebra 2, Chemistry, Election 2008, Current Events (It's actually just American History. Don't let the name fool you!),
Morality, English 3, and Art 2.

14. Do you miss anyone/anything right now?
Not at the moment, but I've stopped being wistful for Harry Potter. Not that I did that too much, but it's nice now to
look back on that time and to be content.

15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
Stutter by Ben's Brother.

16. What's the last movie you saw?
Tropic Thunder. Not as funny as I thought it would be, but still pretty good.

17. What's better: eternal love or memorable love?
For Not-True Love, I would like memorable love, and for True Love or anything like it, I would prefer it to be eternal.

18. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do every day?
Waking up, even if I have to go to school or not.

19. Best time of your life?
2005 was a memorable year, but I plan to make this year even better.

20. What are you most looking forward to in the coming month?
The age of Obama, baby. And the last Princess Diaries book.

Ohmigod, The Lightning Thief! What did you think?

That's a really good answer to #10. Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

I thought it was amazing. The greek geek inside of me had way too much fun noticing and remembering all the different myths. I should be putting up a more detailed review of it soon.

Although you know, I didn't realize who Mr. D was until Percy realized it (I'm so ashamed) and I was surprised to see him first, since Dionysus is sort of the 'adopted' god of Greek/Roman myth. Then, (It's really, really bad of me) I started to crack up a bit because this grumpy guy was the same handsome god from the Dionysus
myth I remember best, the one where he ends up on the boat where all the sailors become, uh, 'attracted' to him and he ends up killing all of them sans the captain.

Also, I'm kinda depressed that my favorite goddess, Hestia, doesn't appear in any of them yet, though I've heard rumors that she will appear in 'The Last Olympian'.

Ooh, I'm so glad you liked it! I'm a sucker for Greek mythology, too, and I totally freaked out every time there was an allusion to other myths.

It's funny; I've been reading some other books that have the gods as characters, and it's been really interesting to see how different authors interpret them. Dinoysus was one god I didn't know a whole lot about before taking a Greek mythology class this year, and now that I think about it he was depicted in kind of a funny way. Have you read The Bacchae? He is crazy.

Have you read the other books yet? I was thinking recently about how Hestia hasn't shown up yet. That's exciting that she might be in TLO. I'll be interested to see what her part will be, seeing as she doesn't have a physical form.

I agree about the different interpretations. Especially when you consider why they're all so different (It changes depending on where you live, what version you are told, what you remember hearing, and of course, what you decide to add on your own) It's all mind-boggling.

Admittedly, I don't know a ton of myths about Dionysus aside from the myth I mentioned above and how he was born. Probably becuase he is the 'adopted' god (It seems he was thought up as a mix of some minor gods, and one big god from a neighboring religion) So he doesn't appear very much in my myth books.

I will be so excited if the rumor is true and Hestia pops up. Everyone seems to forget about her..
